Your steering no longer responds to commands? The servo squeaks or no longer turns? The 17G servo is the component that controls the steering of your RC vehicle. When it fails, your vehicle becomes completely uncontrollable and impossible to steer.
This 17G Servo 16101-6315 (3-Wire Brushless) is the exact original servo factory-installed on the Brushless (PRO) versions of your SCY. With a 3-wire connector specific to brushless systems, it offers a fast and precise response for full steering control.
What this servo changes for your RC
🎯 Precise Steering Restored: This 17G servo provides a fast and precise response. You regain full steering control, even at high speed.
⚡ 3-Wire Brushless Connector: This servo uses a 3-wire connector specific to brushless receivers. It plugs directly into your PRO receiver without adaptation.
💪 17G Torque: The 17 gram-force torque provides the power needed to turn the wheels quickly, even on rough terrain.
🔧 Simple Installation: Unscrew the old servo, install the new one, plug in the 3-wire connector, and you’re done. 10 minutes flat.
Verified Compatibility
This servo is compatible with the following models (BRUSHLESS PRO VERSION only):
• SCY 16201 PRO • SCY 16101 PRO
⚠️ Warning: This 3-wire servo is ONLY for Brushless (PRO) versions. For standard Brushed versions, use the 5-wire servo reference 6050.

What is the difference between 3-wire and 5-wire servos?
The 3-wire servo is designed for brushless (PRO) receivers that have a 3-wire connector. The 5-wire servo is for standard brushed receivers that have a 5-wire connector. The two are NOT interchangeable without an adapter.
How do I know if my servo is faulty?
If the steering no longer responds, if the servo squeaks or vibrates abnormally, or if it no longer turns at all, it is probably faulty. Test by turning the radio control wheel: the servo should turn immediately and silently.
Pro tip to extend its lifespan
Avoid locking the wheels by turning the wheel fully: this forces the servo to push at maximum and can damage it. After each session, check that the servo turns freely without stiff spots. Protect the servo from water and dust to extend its lifespan.
