Broken Plastic = Mandatory Switch to Metal
Tired of constantly replacing the plastic parts of your SCY? Suspension arms crack, steering knuckles deform, mounts break? It’s the endless cycle of plastic parts: they take a few hits, then they fail. And with every break, your session stops abruptly and your wallet takes a hit.
This Complete SCY 1/16 Metal Kit is not just a set of spare parts. It’s a structural upgrade that turns your SCY into an unbreakable war machine. By replacing critical plastic parts with their machined metal equivalents, you increase shock resistance by 10 times and permanently eliminate repetitive breakages.
What this metal kit changes for your RC
💪 Extreme Durability: Machined metal absorbs the harshest impacts without cracking or deforming. No more repeated breakages, your SCY becomes practically indestructible.
🎯 Mechanical Precision: Unlike plastic that deforms under stress, metal maintains exact geometry. Your vehicle keeps its steering accuracy and road holding, even after hundreds of sessions.
⚙️ Complete Kit: This kit includes all critical metal parts: suspension arms, steering knuckles, mounts, cups. You upgrade your SCY all at once without buying parts one by one.
🏁 Improved Performance: The extra weight of metal lowers the center of gravity and improves cornering stability. Your vehicle grips the ground better and lifts less on acceleration.

FAQ: Pilots’ Questions
Expand to see the answers.
Is the installation complicated?
This is an advanced maintenance operation that requires disassembling part of the suspension. Allow 1 to 2 hours of work. Take photos at each step of disassembly to make reassembly easier. The metal parts install exactly like the original plastic parts.
Does the extra weight affect performance?
The metal adds about 50-80g to the total vehicle weight. This slightly reduces top speed (1-2 km/h) but significantly improves stability and road holding. The trade-off is clearly in favor of metal for intensive off-road use.
Pro tip for installation
Apply a tiny drop of blue threadlocker (Loctite 243) on all screws securing the metal parts. Vibrations are stronger with metal, and the threadlocker prevents screws from loosening during use.
