Is your steering becoming imprecise? Do the front wheels move sideways when you hold them? Do you hear clicking noises in the steering? The steering cups (also called wheel seats) are the parts that hold the front wheel spindles on the chassis. When they wear out, the entire steering geometry deteriorates: excessive play, imprecision, premature tire wear.
These Metal Steering Cups (Ref. 6320) are not simple plastic supports. They are structural parts machined from metal to ensure maximum resistance to steering stresses. Their metal construction eliminates the bending and deformation that affect the original plastic cups.
These steering cups are compatible with the following models:

• Other 1/16 models with similar geometry

Grab a front wheel and try to move it sideways (perpendicular to the rotation axis). If you feel excessive play or hear clicking, the cups are worn. Also visually inspect the cups: if they are cracked or deformed, they need to be replaced.
Yes, it is strongly recommended to replace both cups (left and right) at the same time to ensure symmetrical steering geometry. If only one cup is new, the vehicle will tend to pull to one side.
During assembly, make sure the cups are properly aligned and that all fastening points are tightened evenly. Uneven tightening can create stresses and deform the steering geometry. Use a suitable screwdriver and tighten gradually in a cross pattern.
