Do I need to drill holes or cut the plastic?

How can I make my body shell last longer?

Pro tip: you can reinforce the inside of the body shell with reinforced tape (like duct tape) at sensitive points (around the mounting holes and on the front/rear corners). This prevents cracks from spreading during heavy impacts.

Is the protective film included?

Yes, most new body shells come with a very thin transparent film on the outside. If the body shell looks dull when unboxed, that’s normal! Remove this film to reveal the bright shine of the purple.
