Return and Refund Policy – Bigtoysworld.com

Effective Date: 03/02/2024 (Last updated: 05/06/2025)

In accordance with Article VI.47 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, you have a 14-calendar-day withdrawal period from the date of receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without needing to provide any reason or incur penalties.

Return Conditions

Returns are accepted under the following conditions:

  • The return is reported within 14 days of receiving the order.
  • The product has not been used beyond normal inspection and remains in good condition.
  • The product is returned complete (accessories, manuals, packaging) along with a copy of the invoice.

Important: Opening the packaging does not invalidate the right of withdrawal. However, if the product shows signs of wear, damage, or missing components, Bigtoysworld.com reserves the right to apply a reduction to the refund amount, as permitted by Article VI.50 §2 of the Code of Economic Law.

Depreciation and Proof

If a returned product is damaged or incomplete, a proportional deduction from the refund may be applied. This evaluation will be based on objective criteria, including internal photographs and inspection reports.

Non-Returnable Products

According to Article VI.53 of the Code of Economic Law, the following products are excluded from the right of withdrawal:

  • Used or clearly deteriorated products
  • Customized or made-to-order items
  • Used gift cards
  • Products purchased as part of a conditional offer or partially returned bundles
  • Digital content downloaded after purchase (files, PDF guides, etc.)

Note: For partial returns on promotional orders, the refund will be adjusted based on the revised discount applicable to the retained products.

  2. Carefully pack the product. Original packaging is recommended but not mandatory.
  3. Include a copy of the invoice and the reason for return.
  4. Return address: Bigtoysworld.com, Rue Halinsart 149, 4870 Fraipont, Belgium.

Please do not send items directly to the manufacturer.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or does not match your order, please contact us immediately. We will cover the return shipping costs and offer a replacement or full refund.

Return Shipping Costs

Initial shipping is free. In the case of a voluntary return (withdrawal), return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refund Timeframe

Once we receive and inspect the returned product, you will be notified by email. The refund will be issued via the original payment method within a maximum of 10 business days after validation.

Delayed Refunds

If you haven't received your refund:

  • Double-check your bank statement.
  • Contact your bank or card provider.
  • If the refund hasn’t appeared after 14 business days, please contact us.

Amicable Resolution and Governing Law

In case of dispute, Bigtoysworld.com prioritizes amicable resolution. Please contact us via email at info@bigtoysworld.com before taking legal action. This website is subject to Belgian law. If no resolution is found, jurisdiction falls to the consumer's local court within the EU or, failing that, to the courts of Liège (Belgium).

Abuse and Restrictions

Abusive Returns – Fraudulent Use of the Right of Withdrawal

Bigtoysworld.com reserves the right to deny a refund, restrict access to services, or take legal action in cases of evident abuse of the right of withdrawal or fraudulent behavior, including (but not limited to):

  • Repeated returns of clearly used, damaged, or incomplete items
  • Unjustified payment disputes after delivery
  • Repeated orders followed by systematic refund requests

In such cases, we reserve the right to reject the return, retain part or all of the payment as compensation, or report the abuse to the relevant authorities.
