Your steering no longer responds to commands? The wheel spins freely without the wheels moving? The servo is the muscle of your steering: it converts the commands from your remote control into physical movements of the wheels. When it fails, your vehicle becomes uncontrollable and your session stops immediately.
This Servo 17G 16101-6050 (5 Wires Brushed Version) is the exact original servo factory-installed on the Brushed versions of the SCY 16101 and 16102. It instantly restores your vehicle’s steering with the original precision and responsiveness.

How do I know if my servo is faulty?
If the steering no longer responds, if the servo makes a continuous grinding noise, or if the wheels only turn in one direction, the servo is probably faulty. Test by unplugging and reconnecting the servo: if it doesn’t move or vibrates without turning, it needs to be replaced.
What is the difference between 5-wire and 3-wire servos?
The 5-wire servo is for Brushed versions (brushed motor), the 3-wire servo is for Brushless (PRO) versions. The connectors are different and not interchangeable. Check your version before ordering.
Pro tip to extend your servo’s lifespan
Never force the wheels by hand when the vehicle is powered on: this can damage the servo’s internal gears. Avoid heavy frontal impacts that transmit strong shocks to the servo. After each session, check that the servo has no abnormal play.
